Washington, DC, July 6, 2018 – ASAE has announced that Andrew Cronin Finn, MSc, MBA, and Renee Russo, both Executive Directors at McKenna Management, Inc. have earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE®) designation. The CAE is the highest professional credential in the association industry.

The Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential is the marker of a committed association professional who has demonstrated the wide range of knowledge essential to manage an association in today’s challenging environment. It is the highest professional credential in the association industry. Less than five percent of all association professionals have earned their CAE.  To be designated as a Certified Association Executive, an applicant must have a minimum of five years’ experience with nonprofit organization management, complete a minimum of 100 hours of specialized professional development, pass a stringent examination in association management, and pledge to uphold a code of ethics. To maintain the certification, individuals must undertake ongoing professional development activities in association and nonprofit management. More than 4,300 association professionals currently hold the CAE credential. The CAE Program is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).

Andrew Cronin Finn joined McKenna Management in 2015 and brings over 7 years of association management and consulting experience to his role as Executive Director for several client associations and Chief Client Relations Officer for McKenna Management, Inc. He holds a BS in Management from Johnson & Wales University, a MSc in Management Consultancy from University College Dublin, and a MBA from Northeastern University.

Renee Russo joined McKenna Management, Inc. in 2017 and brings over 10 years of association management experience to her role as Executive Director for several client associations. She holds a BA in Marketing Communications from Emerson College.
